We spent an unforgettable two days at the Bangladesh Army Para Commando Brigade, beginning our journey at 6:00 AM sharp to get a rare glimpse into the lives of the nations most elite special forces. Our experience started with a grueling 2.5km tactical course crossing five hills that commandos must complete in just 16 minutes under heavy load. We were then invited to witness a high-stakes hostage rescue demonstration, which simulated the precision and tactics used in real-world operations like Holey Artisan and Atia Mahal. Moving on to the brigades weaponry, I had the unique opportunity to handle an original Turkish-made pistol and learn about the specialized equipments. The adventure took a deeper turn as we moved into the famous "Champa Bagan" jungle to explore hidden survival hideouts. We saw firsthand how commandos set ingenious traps for enemies and survival traps for wildlife to ensure they have food in extreme conditions. While these techniques are strictly for extreme wartime conditions and not part of their regular diet, commandos must learn exactly how to process them as part of their survival training while stationed in hideouts. We also learned essential jungle hacks, like starting a fire, collecting drinking water etc. Finally, we visited the massive soldier mess to see the process of how food is prepared and cooked on a massive scale to feed hundreds of troops every single day. This journey was a true honor and a lifetime experience that showed us the sheer grit of the men who wear the commando beret. ?Disclaimer: Produced for training, education and entertainment purposes, this vlog involves responsible wildlife handling, where education proxies were utilized for simulation purposes to provide a clear understanding of the process while observing respective rights.
